Tax Treaty between Korea and U.A.E. has entered into force on March 2, 2005.








The tax treaty that had been signed on September 22, 2003 in Dubai, U.A.E. has come into effect as of March 2, 2005.



When tax due has been reduced owing to the effectuation of the treaty, branch or subsidiary of a Korean company in U.A.E. may ask the tax refund in accordance with U.A.E. tax law.



Following the above, companies that have a branch or subsidiary in U.A.E. may apply for the tax refund or re-assesment return for the taxes paid in U.A.E. from Jan. 1, 2003 until now.
