제목 없음Electronic filing of
corporate tax return has become much easier
Corporations
whose accounting year ends in December must file corporate tax return by March
31st. The number of corporations that should file by March 31st is 333,072 which
is 97.4% of total corporations.
2005
Corporate tax return may be finalized with electronic filing since every related
documents can be filed electronically through the internet. Only corporations
who get external accounting audit must send an audit report by mail. Tax refunds
for corporations who electronically file tax return will be made more than 10
days earlier than corporations who file by mail because electronic filing is
processed faster. Electronic filing S/W may be downloaded at Hometax Service
web-site (www.hometax.go.kr) for free.
There
will be some changes in this tax return that corporations should take care.
NTS has simplified corporate tax return forms by reducing the number of items in the Share Ownership Change Statement
from 91 to 48. The penalty
tax will be imposed on a corporation whose income is more than 7 bil. Won and
some other corporations if she does not attach External Adjustment Statement.
Though
NTS does not interfere with tax return by companies to respect taxpayers\' self-regulation,
we will provide tax return guidance by informing some cases that are easily
mistaken by corporations. When corporate tax return ends, we will give preferential
treatment to the corporations whose ratio of tax base reported over sales is
high compared with other companies while strictly administrate corporations that dishonestly
filed tax returns.
