NTS (Commissioner Yongsup Lee) has published 「Tax Incentive System on Foreign Investment in Korea」 to implement『Gamdong-Sejung (A
Tax Administration which impresses taxpayers)』and for foreign investors to have a
better understanding of the Korean tax incentives.
○ It contains exemption or reduction of corporate or personal income tax of
foreign-invested-companies, reduction or exemption of dividend income tax, and reduction or exemption of personal income tax of foreign engineers, etc.
○
The brochure will be distributed to InvestKorea, Free Economic Zones, foreign investment division of local governments, foreign embassies in Korea, foreign chambers of commerce, etc. It will also be listed on the web-sites of
the National Tax Service and foreign investment departments to be downloaded.
