제목 없음□ National Tax Service (Commissioner Yongsup Lee) is providing consultation
services using english web-site (www.nts.go.kr/eng) and 「Help-line for Foreign
Taxpayers (☎82-2-397-1440)」to resolve foreign taxpayers\' tax-related difficulties.
○ During 2004, Q&A by e-mail has been increased 74.2% compared
with 2003 and consultation services using 「Help-line for Foreign Taxpayers」has
also been increased by dealing with 175 calls.
□ National Tax Service will improve foreign taxpayer services with continuity
to realize 「Gamdong-Sejung (Tax Administration that impresses taxpayers)」,
NTS\' catch-phrase for 2005.
○「On-line Management System of Customer Satisfaction」 will be introduced
to find out taxpayers\' responses on real time basis and enhance the quality
of services. Also the days required for the reply to the e-mail question
will be shortened to 7 days.
○ A meeting tour for 2005 corporate tax return will be held to hear
and resolve tax-related difficulties on the spot in Seoul, Suwon and Busan where
a lot of foreign companies are located .
○「NTS Annual Report」that shows accomplishments by NTS last year
and tax administration system will be published on Mar. 3. 「Tax Incentive System
on Foreign Investment in Korea」 will also be issued for foreign investors to
get the better understanding on tax incentive system.
○ The provision of tax information will be increased to cater to foreign
taxpayers\' needs by adding 「english retrieval program for classification and
closing status of taxpayers」, english forms and tax news to english web-site.
